Surface vs iPad - Part 2

Microsoft released yet another commercial comparing Surface with iPad.

The latest commercial compares the Asus Vivo Tab with Apple iPad. Comparison is focused more on thickness, light weight, multi tasking.  And of course, the micro SD card adapter, and printing.

However the commercial doesn't compare with iPad features  like Retina display, AppStore, performance and design.

It's just another Microsoft commercial :-)

Watch out the first comparison between Surface and iPad here

Flickr Offers 1 TB Of Free Space - Ends After 3 Days

Yahoo, launched the new, redesigned Flickr on May 20, 2013. Eight years after buying Flickr, Yahoo started something better with Flickr. Not only just redesigning the existing Flickr, now Flickr also offer 1 TB of Free space. Yes, It's hard to believe.

A whooping 1 TB of space is an enormous gift to users who would like to backup their photos online, that too with high resolution original photos. 1 TB is a huge space to organize. However, we can still try to organize them.  These days, people are very much interested in uploading pics from their mobile to Instagram, Facebook with small resolution. I am one of them too :-).

Photos uploaded to Flickr maintain their full resolution, and you can download them in full resolution too. This is a great news for Photographers and album-makers.

You can Share your photos with anyone, anywhere. Instantly share with your Flickr groups and Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or email contacts.

The update also gives users the option of an "Ad Free" account for $49.99 a year. Double your space with an additional 1TB of space for $499.99 a year.

Flickr for your mobile.

Here is a video from cnet. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, launching the new Flickr.

I also use Google Picasa Web Albums to store my photos. Remember that, there is a limit of size 5 GB per user in Picasa.

Hope Yahoo Flickr gets back its users who moved to other sites.
